Outcome of incudostapedial reconstruction with endoscopic modified butterfly tympanoplasty

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the results endoscopic butterfly tympanoplasty in perforations that involve ossicular chain pathologies.
 Materials and Methods: We assessed outcome modified 29 patients. included those with large tympanic membrane covering manubrium malleus has pathologies, operated via transcanal tympanoplasty. 
 Results: closure rate 89.7% (26 ears). mean air conduction pre- postoperative period 37.75±5.20 dB 18.96±6.52 dB, respectively, a statistically significant decrease 18.79±7.33. air-bone gap 27.82±4.74 9.17±4.89 18.62±7.11 Conclusion: technique is minimally invasive can provide successful defective incudostapedial joint.
